Sameer Kokan is vice president and chief of staff to the CEO at Point32Health. He has 20 years of experience in the health care industry, with a unique combination of experience and knowledge of multiple facets within provider and payer organizations. As chief of staff, Sameer serves as a strategic advisor, integrator, communicator and coordinator for the CEO and the senior leadership team.
Sameer was previously with Highmark Wholecare (formerly Gateway Health) based in Pittsburgh, where he held positions of chief of staff to the senior vice president of Health Services and senior director of strategy and business development. Prior to Highmark Wholecare, Sameer held a management consulting role at ProspHire, and roles at Allegheny Health Network, Highmark, Heritage Valley Health System and Merck, Inc. He is on the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce’s Health Care & Life Sciences Leadership Council.
Sameer holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of Pittsburgh and has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University.
