Tisa Hughes is chief legal officer of Point32Health, developing and overseeing the organization’s legal strategy. With responsibility for legal affairs, compliance and ethics, privacy, the special investigation unit, and corporate governance, she and her team work closely with business leadership on a day-to-day basis to identify and manage risk to the company.
Tisa was previously chief legal officer at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She joined Harvard Pilgrim in 2014.
Previously, she served as general counsel at Beacon Health Strategies and as deputy general counsel at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Tisa began her legal career in the health law group at the Boston-based law firm Ropes & Gray. She is a member of the Institutional Review Board of the National Bureau of Economic Research and a former director of Bay Cove Human Services and the Forbes House Museum.
Tisa holds a J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
