Supplemental benefits & perks

Point32Health will provide assistance to or reimburse eligible employees for the following:

  • Associate’s degree
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree
  • Certificate program
  • Individual course — must be directly related to your current position

More program information including employee eligibility, course eligibility criteria, and the pre-approval process can be found on the Tuition Program page on Compass.

EdAssist Solutions is the plan administrator for the tuition program.

Point32Health will provide pre-tax payment or reimburse educational expenses for eligible employees 100% up to $5,250 per calendar year (Jan. 1 through Dec. 31) for full-time employees and 100% up to $2,625 per calendar year for part-time employees. Assistance/reimbursements will be counted against the calendar year maximum benefit for the year in which you receive the payment.

Transit and parking benefits

The administrator for Point32Health transit and parking benefits is Wex. Point32Health offers a subsidy for transit and parking costs.

You establish a spending account with Wex, which you and Point32Health contribute to. You may then use those funds to purchase your monthly transit pass or pay for parking costs. You can create an account on the Wex website (see instructions below).

Why should I choose commuter benefits?

Commuter benefits allow you to put money from your paycheck aside each month, before taxes are taken out, for qualified mass transit and parking expenses.

Point32Health subsidy

Point32Health subsidizes 75% of your pre-tax costs for parking and/or a transit pass, up to a combined total of the IRS annual maximum allowed.

If you want to enroll for payroll deductions, you must make your election on the Wex website the enrollment deadlines below:

Accident Insurance can pay money directly to you if you get hurt and need medical attention. The amount is based on your specific injury and treatment. It covers things like ER treatment, fractures, stitches and more. You can use the money however you choose.

Critical Illness Insurance can pay money directly to you if you’re diagnosed with a covered serious health condition. You can use the lump-sum payment to help with co-pays and deductibles — or any of your other expenses. Your children are automatically covered and your spouse can also get coverage.

Hospital Insurance can pay you a benefit when you’re admitted to the hospital for a covered injury or illness. It can help with the out-of-pocket expenses medical insurance may not cover, such as co-pays and deductibles. You decide how to spend the money. Coverage is also available for your spouse and children. This coverage is a supplement to health insurance. It is not a substitute for comprehensive health insurance and does not qualify as minimum essential health coverage.
