A message about putting our members first

Dear Members,

I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and to thank you for your membership. 

I recently joined Point32Health, the nonprofit parent company of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, as its president and chief executive officer. I am excited to take on this role at such an important time in health care.  

I know many people are struggling to find affordable access to quality care. I am sure you would agree that health care is expensive and the system is overly complex and frustrating to navigate. I want to change that.  

I took this job despite the many challenges the health care industry faces because I want to make a difference in the lives of our members. My priority will be to always put our members at the center of everything we do. Please know that I will work every day to deliver more value to you, to make your experience in navigating the health care system simpler, and to help remove barriers to accessing care. 

Our purpose is to guide and empower healthier lives. We will continue to do our very best to live up to that guiding principle – through good and challenging times. The health care industry is always evolving and changing, but what won’t change is our unwavering commitment to our members.
