A look back at Volunteer Week 2026
August 2026| Partnerships & community
At Point32Health, supporting the communities we serve is an important part of our purpose to guide and empower healthier lives. Each year, Volunteer Week brings colleagues together to make a meaningful impact alongside local nonprofit partners while strengthening connections with one another. Beyond benefiting the organizations we support, volunteering has been shown to promote well-being, foster a deeper engagement and build stronger relationships among colleagues.
Point32Health was recently named to Points of Light's The Civic 50® for the sixth time and fifth consecutive year, recognizing the nation's most community-minded companies. Volunteer Week is one example of how our colleagues bring that commitment to life, partnering with organizations across our footprint to support healthier, stronger communities.
This year, colleagues came together to volunteer with organizations addressing a wide range of community needs. Teams worked alongside nonprofits focused on food security, homelessness, social isolation, environmental stewardship and other challenges that affect community health and well-being. In total, 1,300+ colleagues contributed more than 3,100 volunteer hours at 70 projects in the places where we live and work.
