Community engagement

Corporate citizenship—it’s central to our values and includes philanthropic grants, community engagement, volunteering, supporting colleagues in their giving, and taking the lead on issues that matter to our members, our colleagues, and community.

Building on the rich tradition of service and giving established by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan, Point32Health integrates good corporate citizenship in everything we do. Again this year, Point32Health was named to The Civic 50 list (five times) of socially responsible companies by Points of Light. The Civic 50 sets a national standard for corporate citizenship and showcases leading companies integrating social impact, civic engagement and community into their practices, values and core business.

Learn more about our commitment to communities in our Point32Health Impact Report. The report shows how we are working together to build a lasting community of care, living our shared values and fulfilling our purpose to guide and empower healthier lives for everyone. We center what matters to our region. We share the stories of our work with communities and how we support community-led solutions that improve health outcomes.

In 2024, Point32Health companies and our Foundation gave $14 million in grants, matching gifts, sponsorships, volunteer time, in-kind and other contributions to community through nonprofit organizations. This includes Foundation grants totaling $8 million+ to 159 community nonprofits across the five states we serve.
