Point32Health is moving to Availity Essentials, a secure, multi-payer portal that gives providers and office staff one place to work with Point32Health and many other health plans.
Beginning Nov. 16, 2026, you can use Availity Essentials for a growing range of transactions for Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan products. We’ll continue to add and enhance functionality over time, making this page your source for what’s available now, what’s coming next and how to get started.

The Nov. 16 launch is the first step in our transition to Availity Essentials. We expect to add capabilities in phases during 2027, including referrals and authorizations, claims corrections, secure messaging, reporting and other tools. We’ll update this page as new functionality becomes available.
Availity Essentials is an additional option at launch. HPHConnect and the secure Tufts Health Plan provider portal, including MHK, will remain available with their current functionality. If we decide to retire a legacy portal in the future, we’ll notify providers well in advance and provide transition guidance.
The first step is to designate an Availity Essentials administrator for your organization. The administrator is responsible for registering the organization and managing user accounts and should have legal authority to sign agreements on behalf of the organization. Once registered, the administrator can determine which staff members need access and create accounts for those users. You’ll find the registration information you need on the Availity Help Center.
Log in to Availity Essentials, select the appropriate Harvard Pilgrim Health Care or Tufts Health Plan payer option, and choose the transaction or resource you need. The tools shown may vary based on your organization, role and permissions.
