Point32Health is making a change to our Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO product offering for the 2027 plan year. Effective Jan. 1, 2027, the existing Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) plan with three premium segments will no longer be offered. 

A new premium PPO plan will be offered instead, also known as Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO). The new Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) plan will be offered in the same service area as the discontinued plan, but will feature a different medical benefit package — which you can read more about here.

Unlike the existing Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) plan, which has premiums ranging from $20 – $60 depending on the county in which the member resides, the new 2027 Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) plan will have a standard monthly premium of $220 for all counties.

Current Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) members will not be automatically enrolled in the replacement Tufts Medicare Preferred PPO RX (PPO) plan for 2027. These members were notified that the plan would not be offered for 2027 and instructed to enroll in other plans of their choice during the annual open enrollment period.
